The story behind this painting is very close to my heart.

It was originally painted as a gift for a very close friend of mine who enjoyed my artwork and whose son loved castles. He unfortunately suffered from Motor Neurone Disease and went in for an operation before the painting was ever finished. Sadly, he never got to see the final result.
