After months of work, I can officially say that this is the last post regarding the marathon. We raised £12,500 (this is before the platform fees so will be about 12k) and this money will be split directly between both Combat Stress and Blesma, The Limbless Veterans.
The marathon ended up taking 5:11:59 – it’s not the greatest time but seeing as I was playing warzone and running a stream, I wouldn’t say it’s that bad. I am going to continue training and at some point, run a marathon and try to get a competitive time just for myself!
I can honestly say that this is probably the thing I have achieved that I am most proud of in my life. So, a huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared the streams and posts and made the event possible. I genuinely didn’t believe we could make it happen when I came up with the idea but months of training, work and a tonne of meetings and we got there.
Thank you to Pud for always sticking by my side, for helping me with every single little part of this and just generally be a top geeza. I would be lost without you brother. That said, Happy Birthday chap! I love you. Thank you to the team and the mods who kept the chat a phenomenal place to be and consistently do a brilliant job in all the streams.

I am forever grateful to be in this position and I promise I will always do my best to utilise the platform that I have to help better people’s lives.
