Sadly I couldn’t attend the actual meeting to drop the boots off due to being in hospital.
However, over the last six months Worldly Wise Ambassadors and friends have collected 4 suitcases of used football boots.
Today they have been dropped off to be shipped to the guys over at Football without Borders Kenya who support youths in the community through sports and sustainable livelihood activities, focusing on development and employment.
I sponsored the shipping to ensure several cases of second hand football boots made it over there safely, equating to over 100 pairs of boots that go directly in to underprivileged communities that wouldn’t otherwise be able to receive them.
